Fiberglass Grating

Fiberglass Grating

Feature: no magnetic insulation, bright color, a variety of styles and forms

Application: Used for corrosive environment floor, platform, ship deck, building walkway, etc.

Fiberglass grating is a kind of plate made of glass fiber-reinforced material and unsaturated polyester resin as matrix, through a special process, with many gaps. Fiberglass grating can be used as a structural material, for floors, platforms, stairs, fences, and so on in corrosive environments.

Fiberglass grating has the following advantages:

  • Corrosion resistance: Fiberglass grating can resist the erosion of various chemicals, suitable for harsh environments such as acid, alkali, and salt.
  • Lightweight and high strength: Fiberglass grating has a specific gravity of only one-quarter of steel, but its strength can reach more than twice that of steel, making it easy to transport and install.
  • Fireproof and flame retardant: Fiberglass grating has self-extinguishing properties, does not produce toxic gas, and meets international fire standards.
  • Anti-slip and wear-resistant: Fiberglass grating surface can be processed into concave or diamond patterns, increasing friction, and preventing slipping or abrasion.
  • Insulation and anti-static: Fiberglass grating has good insulation performance, does not conduct electricity or generate static sparks, suitable for industries such as electricity, electronics, and so on.

Fiberglass grating is widely used on the following occasions:

  • Production equipment, platforms, channels, stairs, and so on in industries such as petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, papermaking, and so on.
  • Cable trays, antenna supports, isolation fences, and so on in industries such as electricity, communication, broadcasting, and so on.
  • Sewage treatment, drainage ditches, water towers, reservoirs, and so on in industries such as environmental protection, water conservancy, municipal, and so on.
  • Runways, docks, bridges, cabins, and so on in industries such as transportation, aviation, shipbuilding, and so on.
